    • Leo H. Rudnick, 82, Pulaski, died peacefully Sunday morning, March 2, 2014, at his home. The son of the late Peter and Catherine (Bruskiewicz) Rudnick was born May 1, 1931, in the town of Maple Grove. On July 10, 1954, he married Veronica VerHaagh at St. John the Baptist Church in Howard. The couple raised their family in the town of Chase where Leo was a dairy farmer. He enjoyed driving tractors and feeding cattle, and simply loved being outdoors. He especially loved working on his farm. He also enjoyed playing cards and watching the Green Bay Packers.

      Leo was a member of Assumption B.V.M. Parish for many years and belonged to the Knights of Columbus, Bishop Bona #4439, Pulaski.

      Survivors include his wife, Veronica; nine children: David (Gail) Rudnick, Green Bay, Mary Lee (Jim) Kaun, Appleton, Sharon (Tom) Sturke, Hobart, Ann (Andy) Bos, Freedom, Janice (Jeff) Jungenberg, Tigard, OR, Nancy (Kevin) Hoppe, Winneconne, Donald (Mary) Rudnick, Pulaski, Michael (Monica) Rudnick, Pulaski, and Steve Rudnick, at home; 14 grandchildren: Paige, Michaela, Sarah and Anne, Anthony and Alison, Jennifer and Casey, Jesselyn, Kevin, Nathan, and Jacob, Miranda and Mitchell; two great-grandchildren: Jack and Jessica.

      He was preceded in death by six brothers: Frank, Roman (Delores), Joseph (Ruth), Valentine, Peter, and Edward; five sisters: Lucille (Michael) Wojcik, Hattie (Tony) Karcz, Angeline (Ralph) Zuleger, Dorothy (Fred) Beilke, Helen (Leo) Jarek.

      Friends may call at Marnocha Funeral Home, Pulaski from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Tuesday. Knights of Columbus Service will take place at 6:45 p.m., and the Parish Wake Service at 7:00 p.m. The visitation continues after 12:00 noon Wednesday at Assumption B.V.M. Church, 119 E. Pulaski St., Pulaski. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the church, Fr. Bob Konkol, O.F.M. presiding. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery in the spring.
