  SOURCE: APPLETON POST CRESCENT OBITUARY Monday, September 9, 1940 Miss Marian Hermsen, 15, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Hermsen, Town of Vandenbroek, died at 5 o'clock Sunday afternoon. She submitted to an operation last Thursday. Surviving are three brothers, Joseph, Raymond, Lloyd, at home; six sisters, Clara, Lorraine, Eleanor, Grace, and Mildred, at home, Mrs. Helen Vander Voort, Kaukauna. Funeral services will be conducted at 9 o'clock Wednesday morning at St. John Church, Little Chute by the Rev. John J. Sprangers. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
