- Lyle Francis Green, 70, Wrightstown, passed away Thurs, Oct 11, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. The son of the late Rosella and Joseph Green was born Sept 18, 1942 in Green Bay. He married the former Kathleen Harrington; together they celebrated 28 years of marriage.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen, children: Jolene Green, Tammy (John) Bartell and their children: Brady, Dillon, Sawyer and Teagan, John (Kathy) Petruzzelli and their children Anthony and Andrea Buck; brothers: Leonard (Elaine) Green and Vernon Green, sister, Gerry Pomeroy.
Lyle was preceded in death by his mother and father, and two brothers: Donald and Harland Green.
Lyle was a successful business man, having owned Lyle Green Trucking for many years, where he supported local farmers. He enjoyed working and driving his Nash Rambler, as well as travelling and going on cruises. Through his travels, he actively followed Anthony's ice hockey career.
Family and friends may call Monday, Oct. 15, at St. Clare Parish-St. Paul Site, Wrightstown, from 2:00pm until the hour of Mass. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 6:00pm Monday with Fr. Bob Kabat officiating. Interment in St. Paul Cemetery, Wrightstown. Cotter Funeral Home and Cremation Services is assisting the family.
