    • Marjorie Francis (Besaw) Horkman, 88, Green Bay, died peacefully on November 16, 2012, with family by her side. Born on July 30, 1924, in Green Bay, she is the daughter of the late John and "Nellie" (Vanden Heuvel) Besaw. Marjorie was a 1942 graduate of Green Bay East High School. On September 3, 1947, she married Henry J. Horkman, and he preceded her in death on April 6, 2002. Marjorie worked at Wasserstein Dress Shop and Psychiatric Services of Green Bay, until her retirement in 1989. She enjoyed traveling when she was younger, and had a passion for reading and doing crossword puzzles.

      Marjorie is survived by two children, Joan Van Ess, and Larry (Pamela) Horkman, both of Green Bay; six grandchildren, Robert (Nick Banks) Van Ess, Peggy (Dan) Bickhart, Sandra (Cory) Kluth, Shelly Van Ess (special friend, Jason), Jennifer (Greg) Sikorski, and Matthew Horkman; six great grandchildren, Nathan, Allison and Riley Bickart, McKenna Kluth, Gavin and Vivian Sikorski; one sister and brother-in-law, Rosemary (Jerry) DeKeyser, Dyckesville; many sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.

      She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; one son-in-law, Elroy Van Ess; five brothers, Frank, Jerry, Dick, Gordon, and Bob Besaw; and one sister, Pat Van Ess.

      Visitation at St. Willebrord Church in the Fr. Ken Hall, 209 S. Adams Street, Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral. Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church with the Rev. Andy Cribben O.Praem officiating. Entombment at Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum. MALCORE (West) Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements, 499-4100.
