Notes - Bartman, Marie E. Marie E. Bartman, Appleton, age 93, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, September 8, 2004, at Brewster Village, Appleton. Marie was born on August 27, 1911, in Hortonville, to the late Julius and Lydia (Waldvogel) Krause, Jr. She married Robert F. Bartman on October 13, 1936 he preceded her in death on November 7, 1973. Marie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Survivors include her daughters, Kay Vandenberg, Appleton Sandra (Norbert) DeGroot, Hofa Park, and Jeanette Richey, Appleton her sons, Robert R. (Florence) Bartman, New Holstein Richard F. (Shirley) Bartman, Minocqua Stephen (Lois) Bartman, San Bruno, CA and James (Rose) Bartman, Kimberly her 16 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Reinhold (Florence) Krause and her sisters, Martha Krause and Esther (Walter) Nau an infant sister, Minnie her nephew Donald Krause and her son-in-law, Raymond Vandenberg.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 10, 2004, at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, Appleton with Rev. Daniel Spina officiating. Friends may call directly at the funeral home on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
