Jensen, Marian
Marian Jensen 83, De Pere, passed away early Tuesday morning Sept. 29, 2009, at a local hospital. She was born June 21, 1926 in Ashwaubenon to the late Earl and Eleanor (Baeten) Burgoyne. On Dec. 28, 1957, she was united in marriage to Bob Jensen at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Kewaunee. Marian graduated from Nicolet High School in 1944. She was a member of #2113 Ladies Auxiliary and also the Concerned Hearts Club and Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family.
She is survived by her two daughters and one son; Cindy (Tim) Jahnke, Howards Grove, Jill Perock, Ashwaubenon, and Mike (Donna) Jensen, Plymouth. Her four special grandchildren also survive; Ryan (Raquel) Jahnke and Matthew Jahnke, Jenna and Julia Perock. Her sister-in-law, Marian Hoks, her special friends of over 50 years Tiny O'Brien and Joyce Larscheid, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Marian was preceded in death by her husband Bob on Jan. 1, 1993, her son-in-law Keith Perock, members of her and Bob's family; Adele (Bob) Hoffman, Vera (Joe) Engels, Gen (Ray) Modrow, Ethel (Norb) Vaillant, Joan (Glenn) Gottier, Bernice (Pat) Kelly, Louis (Rose Van Hoof) Burgoyne, Bob (Lou) Burgoyne, Mert (Irma) Jensen, Dorothy (Ray) Lemke, Tom Hoks, Jean (Bob) Fagan, as well as her in-laws Ray and Ida Jensen.
Friends may call at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family, corner of Lourdes Ave. and Suburban Drive De Pere from 9 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 2nd. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. with Fr. Tim Shillcox, O. Praem, and Deacon Mike VanderBloomen officiating. Entombment will take place in Allouez Catholic Mausoleum. A memorial has been established for Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
