    • Jerome (Jerry) Van Dyck, 91, De Pere, went to his heavenly Father Saturday, July 13, 2013. Jerry was born June 3, 1922, the son of Ferdinand and Hattie (Baeten) Van Dyck. He lived in De Pere his entire life, attending St. Mary Grade School and De Pere High School. Jerry spent most of his life working as a butcher at the family grocery store, Baeten's, and also at Olson's in De Pere. He loved telling stories to all of the customers of his travels all over the world. Jerry loved the Packers and also enjoyed bowling. He loved sharing his chocolates with all visitors. Jerry had a very deep faith with a great devotion to the rosary. He was a lifelong member of St. Mary Catholic Community, De Pere.

      Jerry will be missed by his brother: Robert Van Dyck of Grafton; and his sister, Janet (Alfred) Pearson of Green Bay. He is also survived by his loving nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved as his own.

      He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Raymond (Eunice) Van Dyck and Norbert (Marian) Van Dyck; sisters, Hubertha (Richard) Schippers, Elizabeth (Leo Piumbroek) (Joseph Hendricks), Genevieve Van Dyck and Florence Van Dyck; sister-in-law, Rosie Van Dyck; and stepmother, Mary Van Dyck.

      Family and friends may call at St. Mary Catholic Church, 4805 Sportsman Drive, Ledgeview, on Tuesday, July 16, from 9:30am until the hour of Mass. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am on Tuesday, with the Rev. Richard Getchel officiating. Interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, De Pere.
