Thomas (nee Schroeder), age 92, died Saturday, May 29, 2004 at Franciscan Care Center in Appleton. She was born April 18, 1912 at Green Valley In Oconto. Her parents were Frank and Nathalie (Sommerfeldt) Schroeder. She married Richard Conrad in Gillett, Wis. on Sept. 7, 1932. They made their home in Kaukauna and later in rural Seymour. Richard preceded her in death in March of 1965. On Oct. 12, 1974 she married Earl Thomas at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cicero, Wis. He preceded her in death in December of 1986. Beatrice is survived by three sons, Kenneth (Barbara Wussow) Conrad, Abbottsford; Wayne (Cecilia Hallam) Conrad, Manitowoc; Bruce Conrad, Appleton; daughter-in-law, Donna Conrad, Baileys Harbor; stepson, Darvin (Dorothy) Thomas, Appleton; grandchildren, Richard Conrad, Madison; Val (Paul) Knautz, Abbottsford; Mike (Tami) Conrad, Cottage Grove; Susan (Monte) Mathews, Kansas; Adam Conrad, Minnesota; Tom Conrad, Whitelaw; John (Pam) Conrad, Greenville; Greg (Terri) Conrad, New Berlin; Mary (Matt) Horton, Hawaii; step-grandchildren, Cheryl, Susie, Keith, Brian, Brent, Brenda, Rick, Bill, Vicki, Steve, Jeff and Robert, Jr.; 13 great-grandchildren and several step-great grandchildren; a brother, Les Schroeder, Gillett; sister and brother-in-law, Gloria (Bob) Miller, Minnesota; sisters-in-law, Anita Schroeder and Agnes Schroeder, Gillett; Margaret Conrad and Frances Ozburn Wolfgram, Kaukauna; nieces and nephews; special friends, Donna Mueller, who helped her and spent time with her, as well as Tootie Zuleger; and many other friends.
