      Anderson, Lucille A. Lucille A. Anderson, age 97, of Kaukauna, passed away Sunday, November, 5, 2006, at Appleton Medical Center. She was born February 14, 1909, to the late Joseph and Wilhelmina "Min" (Nabbefeld) Schmitt, in Freedom. Ceil had been a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church since her marriage to Al in 1935. She is a charter member of the Loyal Order of Moose, AARP, Loyal Order of Eagles, Hobby Club and several card clubs. Ceil was a volunteer at St. Paul Home and St Paul Manor, chairperson for the American Red Cross and donated knitted and crocheted items to St. Paul and Holy Cross fund raisers and often crocheted afghans, mittens and slippers for missions, family, friends and the needy.

      Ceil is survived by two daughters, Darlene Laurent, Appleton; Ann Van Roy, Kimberly; four sons: Duaine (Kay); Darwood (Doug); Gary (Cindy), all of Kaukauna; Lee (Marian), Walled Lake, MI; 13 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 7 step great-grandchildren; a sister, Arlene Vanden Boogart, Appleton; a sister-in-law, Delores "Dolly" Anderson; numerous nieces and nephews.

      She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred J. "Andy" Anderson, two sisters, Lillian (George) Hietpas and Rose (Chet) Kaezor, a brother, Lloyd (Marge) Schmitt, six sisters-in-law and seven brothers-in-law.

      The funeral mass for Ceil will be held at 4 p.m., Wednesday, November 8, 2006, at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer Street, with Father Marty Fox officiating. Burial will be in Appleton Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the church from 1 p.m. Wednesday, until the time of the mass. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established.

      The Anderson family would like to extend special thanks to the staff and residents of Kindred Hearts for making her last two years very special A special thanks also to the staff of Appleton Medical Center on 4 North, for their care and hospitality as well as ThedaCare Hospice for their special care for Ceil and wonderful support to the family.
