    • Gonnering, Catherine (Romenesko) 1986 Appleton Post Crescent dated 1/9/1986; Mrs. John Gonnering, Catherine Romenesko, age 63, died 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 8th, 1986. She was born April 10th, 1922 in Freedom daughter of the late William and Mary Romenesko. She was a member of the St. Nicholas Catholic Church; the Christian Mothers. Survivors include her husband, John (Jack); five sons and daughters in law: Jim and Mary, of Kaukauna; Richard and Laura; Michael and Lois; Gary and Ethel; David and Marcella all of Freedom; three sisters: Mrs. Verona Peters, of Little Chute; Mrs. Jerome (Mary) Seagers, of Kimberly; Mrs. Alois (Mildred) Sonnleitner, of Longview Texas; two brothers and sisters in law: Walter and Ida Romenesko, of Little Chute; Joe and Lorraine Romenesko, of Freedom; 16 grandchildren and a great grandchild. She was preceded in death by two brothers: Elmer and Clarence. Funeral services will be 12 noon Friday at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Freedom with Reverend Leander Nickel officiating. Internment will be in the parish cemetery.
