- Sonnleitner, Mildred (Romenesko) 1987 Appleton Post Crescent dated 4/30/1987; Mildred Romenesko Sonnleitner, formerly of Oshkosh, age 68, died suddenly while visiting in McMinnville, Ore. She was born March 22nd, 1919, in Freedom, Wisconsin, the daughter of William and Mary Romenesko. She married Alois Sonnleitner, June 8th, 1940, at St. Nicholas Church, Freedom Wisconsin. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Debra Nelns, of Nagadoches, Texas; two sons: Gary Sonnleitner, Longview, Texas; John Rock, McMinnville Oregon; two brothers: Joseph Romenesko, Freedom; Walter Romenesko, Little Chute; two sisters: Verona Peeters, Little Chute; Mary Severs, Kimberly; six grandchildren. The service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Church, Oshkosh, with the Rev. Gary Dilley officiating. Internment will be in Sacred Heart cemetery Oshkosh.
Longview News Journal dated 5/1/1987; Mildred A. Sonnleitner, Oshkosh Wisconsin, rosary for Mildred A. Sonnleitner, 67, of Longview will be 7:00 p.m. Friday at Poklasng Funeral home. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart cemetery. Mrs. Sonnleitner died Tuesday evening in Salem Oregon hospital. Born March 22nd, 1920, in Freedom, Wisconsin, Mrs. Sonnleitner was the owner and operator of the Archway Cookie Company in McMinnville, Ore, from 1954 to 1969. She then moved to Longview where she owned and operated the Archway Cookie Company until 1974. She was a member of the St. Anthony's Catholic church. Survivors include her husband, Alois; sons; Gary of Longview and John Rock and Larry Rock, both of Oregon; daughter, Debra Ann Nelms of Nacogdoches; two brothers; two sisters; six grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
