    • Romenesko, William 1961 Appleton Post Crescent dated 6/2/1961; William Romenesko, Freedom Wisconsin, age 81, passed away at 1:00 p.m. Thursday after a long illness. He was born in Freedom July 10th, 1879, farming in Freedom until his retirement 15 years ago. Mr. Romenesko was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Nicholas Church of Freedom. Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Orville Peters, of Little Chute, Mrs. Raymond Kempen, of Kaukauna, Mrs. Alois Sonnleitner, of Oregon, and Mrs. John Gonnering Jr., of Freedom; three sons, Walter, of Little Chute; Joseph, of Stephenville, and Elmer, of Freedom; three sisters, Mrs. Dora Bougie, of DePere, Mrs. Matt VanHoof, of Little Chute and Mrs. Joseph Conrad, of Freedom; 32 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday at 9:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas Church, with burial in the parish cemetery.
