DeCleene, Anthony "Tony" Anthony "Tony" DeCleene, 79, Lena, died Wednesday, June 6, 2007, at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay.
He was born to the late Anton and Johanna (Reynders) DeCleene Nov. 15, 1927, in Klondike, Wis. Tony married the former Rose Pelishek Sept. 3, 1949, at the former St. Charles Catholic Church of Lena. He worked at Wisconsin Bell Telephone Company for over 30 years until retirement. Tony was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Lena.
Survivors include his wife, Rosamond; six children, Kathy Powell, Germantown; Steve (Jane), Greendale; Mary (Tony) Creapeau, Gresham; Jeff, Lena; Julie Drake, Slinger; and Dave, Lena; three sisters, Evelyn Brickner, Suring; Mary (Lloyd) Hanstedt, Peoria, Ill.; and Tess (Dick) Devroy, Mountain; sisters-in-law, Lillimae, Ina, Martha, and Roseann; brother-in-law, Ben Leitzke; mother-in-law, Martha Pelishek, Lena; grandchildren, Shelley, Sarah, Lyndsey, Aaron, Amber, Angela, Jim, Ryan, Cal, Marina and Nicole; great-grandchildren, Paige, Tyler, Austin, Aiden, Madison, Sarah, Domanic and Alyssa.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Norbert, Vince, Joe, and Bernard; five sisters, Florence (Bill) Hermann, Lucy Leitzke, Pat (Chris) VanLaarhoven, Irene and Vicky (Woodrow) Brickner; and father-in-law, Henry Pelishek.
Friends may call at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Lena Saturday, June 9, 2007, from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral Mass at 1 p.m. with Father Lawrence Marto officiating. Placed to rest at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Cemetery, Klondike. Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Lena is assisting the family.
