Mrs. Wenzel Romenesko [Merrilla Vanden Heuvel] 925 N. Madison St. Little Chute
Age 76, died at 4:15 a.m. Tuesday, June 30, 1992. She was born March 16, 1916 in Little Chute to the late George and Minnie Vanden Heuvel. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church and the St. Elizabeth Society. She married Wenzel Romenesko on February 9, 1937 at St. John Catholic Church, Little Chute.
Survivors include her husband, Wenzel; two daughters, Darlene and Dave Taylor, Appleton; Char and Bill Hanssen, Little Chute; three sons, Lloyd 'Buck' and Nancy Romenesko, Glenn and Nancy Romenesko, Dale and Ann Romenesko, all of Little Chute; three sisters, Ruth Romenesko, Appleton; Roselle Van Dyn Hoven, Little Chute; Stella Wallace, Little Chute; 15 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Cheryl Ann Dalke; a son in-law, Vernon 'Slip' Dalke; four brothers, Orville, Ed, Martin and Willard Vanden Heuvel.
Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Wednesday from St. John Catholic Church, Little Chute with Rev. John Doerfler officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 4 p.m. Wednesday until the time of services. Verkuilen Funeral Home Little Chute

The Misses Merilla and Ruth Vanden Heuvel, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. George Vanden Heuvel, route 1, Kaukauna, were the brides in a double wedding ceremony at 8 o'clock this morning at St. John church, Little Chute. Miss Merrilla was married to Wenzel Romenesko of Freedom and Miss Ruth became the bridge of Walter Romenesko, son of Mrs. Walter Romenesko of Freedom. The two bridegrooms are cousins. Both ceremonies were performed by the Rev. John J. Sprangers and the couples attended each year.
Following the ceremony a wedding dinner was served to about 100 guests at the Vanden Heuvel home and in the evening the couples will be honored at a dance at Twelve Corners. Mr. and Mrs. Wenzel Romenesko will reside in Little Chute and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Romenesko will live on route 1, Kaukauna.
