- Romenesko, Wenzel 1995 Apppleton Post Crescent dated 5/10/1995; Wenzel Romenesko, formerly of 925 North Madison Street Little Chute who, age 85, died at 6:15 a.m. Tuesday, May 9th, 1995. He was born October 7th, 1909 in Freedom, son of the late Henry and Mary (Conrad) Romenesko,. Wenzel was employed by the Kimberly-Clark Corporation prior to his retirement. He married Merrilla Vandenheuvel February 9, 1937 at St. John Catholic Church. He was a member of St. John Catholic Church and a member of the Kimberly-Clark Corp. Quarter Century club. Survivors include two daughters: Darlene and Dave Taylor, Appleton and; Char and Bill Janssen, Little Chute; three sons: Lloyd "Buck" and Nancy Romenesko, Glenn and Nancy Romenesko, Dale and Ann Romenesko, all of Little Chute; three brothers: Walter Romenesko, Kaukauna; Joseph Romenesko, Little Chute; Leonard Romenesko, Kaukauna; a sister, Stella Sanders, Little Chute; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Merilla in June of 1992; three sisters: Cathryn Romenesko, and Ann VanAsten, Margaret VandenBoogart Vandenheuvel; a granddaughter, Cheryl Ann Dalke; a son in law, Vernon "Slip" dalke. Funeral services will be held at 5:45 p.m. Thursday from St. John Catholic Church, Little Chute with the Reverend John Doerfler officiating. Internment will be in the parish cemetery.
