      Young, Dolores M. Dolores M. Young, age 92, of Clintonville, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2007, at Pine Manor Health Care Center, Embarrass. The former Dolores Mae Balthazor was born July 20, 1915, in the Town of Maple Creek, Outagamie County, and was the daughter of the late Clement and Mary (Perry) Balthazor. On January 23, 1934, Dolores was united in marriage to Jerome Young at St. Mary Catholic Church, Bear Creek. The couple farmed for many years, in the Bear Creek area, and Dolores moved to Clintonville in 1977. She was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church, Clintonville, St. Rose/St. Mary P.C.C.W., and was very active at the Clintonville Senior Citizen Center, and was the resident representative at Pine Manor Health Care Center for 5 years. Dolores will be remembered as being very active in the lives of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and being very friendly to everyone. She enjoyed playing Bingo at Pine Manor, card playing, gardening and traveling.

      Survivors include a daughter, Nancy Damask, Iola, and her children, Donald (Dana) Damask and Kevin Damask; a daughter, Rita (Robert) Boettcher, Clintonville, and their children Kay (Bart) Landsverk and Daniel (Jodi) Boettcher; a son, Victor (Karen) Young, Hollandtown; a daughter, Agnes (Richard) Brantmeier, Menasha, and their children, Chad and Jeremy Brantmeier; a son, James (Donna) Young, New London, and their children, April (Charles) Spoehr, Brenda Young, Cindy (Lee) Hasenorhl, and Kimberly Young; great-grandchildren: Taylor, Cassandra, Tori, Erik, Hayden, Brady, Eric, Morgan, Lindsey, Natasha, Texas, Jason, Jerry, and Sabrinna. One brother, Willard Balthazor, Toledo, OH.

      Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome; three sons: Joey, Clement and Daniel; son-in-law, Hubert Damask; father, Clement Balthazor; mother, Mary Balthazor Kleinschmidt, and stepfather, Henry Kleinschmidt, nine brothers-in-law, and ten sisters-in-law.

      Mass of the Christian Burial will be held Friday, September 21, 2007, at 11 a.m. at St. Rose Catholic Church, Clintonville. Fr. Benjamin Sember will officiate with burial in the St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Bear Creek. Friends may call at the church only, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the services. Beil-Didier Funeral Home, Clintonville is assisting the family.

      The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Pine Manor Health Care Center, for the daily care, and deep concern expressed to Dolores during her stay.

    • My Great-Grandmother, Dolores Young, attended St. Rita's School in Racine, WI, as a young child. She wore dresses or skirts every day to school. And if the teachers, who were sisters at the time, thought your dress or skirt was too short, she made the student kneel on the floor. If your skirt didn't touch the floor you were sent home.
