      Baril, Frances M. Frances M. Baril, age 92, lifetime resident of Appleton, died Monday, September 18, 2006, at Franciscan Healthcare Center in Appleton. She was born on February 7, 1914, in Appleton to the late Ernest and Dora (Vandenberg) Blohm. Frances married Chester "Chet" Baril on November 16, 1950; he preceded her in death on July 2, 1990.

      She was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church and a member of Harvey Pierre Post #2778 VFW Auxiliary.

      Frances will be sadly missed by her sister, Mary Van Toll of Appleton; two nephews: John W. Van Toll of Appleton and Donald (Jackie) Van Toll of Combined Locks; three great nieces: Jodie (Keith) Huss and son Seth of Weyauwega, Kristine (Michael) Wallner of Combined Locks and Tracy (Daniel) Malsavage and daughter Alex of Kimberly; sisters-in-law: Gladys (Robert) School of Kaukauna and June Lemmron of Green Bay.

      Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Chester; brother, Norbert Blohm; and brother-in-law, John Van Toll.

      The funeral liturgy will be held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, September 21, 2006, at ST. THERESE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 213 E. Wisconsin Avenue, Appleton with Fr. William Hoffman officiating. Entombment will take place at Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 2 p.m. until the time of mass.
