  April 9, 1937 The Misses Merilla and Ruth Vanden Heuvel, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. George Vanden Heuvel, route 1, Kaukauna, were the brides in a double wedding ceremony at 8 o'clock this morning at St. John church, Little Chute. Miss Merrilla was married to Wenzel Romenesko of Freedom and Miss Ruth became the bridge of Walter Romenesko, son of Mrs. Walter Romenesko of Freedom. The two bridegrooms are cousins. Both ceremonies were performed by the Rev. John J. Sprangers and the couples attended each year. Following the ceremony a wedding dinner was served to about 100 guests at the Vanden Heuvel home and in the evening the couples will be honored at a dance at Twelve Corners. Mr. and Mrs. Wenzel Romenesko will reside in Little Chute and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Romenesko will live on route 1, Kaukauna.
