Pritzl, Leo J. Leo J. Pritzl, age 90, of 131 Valley View Drive, Brillion, passed away on Sept. 8, 2006, at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay. He was born February 19, 1916, in Brillion, son of the late William & Caroline (Spatchek) Pritzl. On September 2, 1942, he married Jeanette Schneider at St. Mary Catholic Church in Brillion. Leo farmed until his retirement. He was a member of Holy Family Parish in Brillion. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, playing cards, and spending time up north.
Leo is survived by his wife, Jeanette of 64 years, a son, Donald (Sandi) Pritzl of Brillion and their children, Tom (Cheryl) Pritzl and Robin (Nancy) Pritzl, a son, Howard (Barb) Pritzl of Reedsville and their children, Mike (Lisa) Pritzl and Megan Pritzl, a daughter, Jeanne (Ralph) Sprangers of Sillwater, OK, and their son, Shane Sprangers, a son-in-law, Jim (Dori) Behnke and their children: Tina (Dale) Galoff, Rick Behnke (special friend Colleen), Ryan Behnke, 13 great-grandchildren, four sisters and a brother-in-la w: Emily Nate of Brillion; Elaine Brennan of New Holstein; Irene Wildenberg of Combined Locks; Lenore (Bernard) Benzschawel of Sheboygan; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Betty and Roger Schneider of Darboy; Jim and Pat Schneider of Whitelaw; Mary Rose Schneider of Rugby, ND; Nancy Schneider of Darboy and Clemens and Mary Schneider of Pearson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Bill Pritzl, a daughter, Nancy Behnke, a brother, Jerome Pritzl, his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bill and Lena Schneider, four brothers-in-law: Ken Schneider, Urban Wildenberg, Wilbert Nate and Jim Brennan.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 11, 2006, at Holy Family Parish in Brillion with Father Mathew Simonar officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary Cemetery, Brillion. Visitation will be at the Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion from 4-8 p.m. on Sunday, September 10, 2006, and then at the church on Monday from 9 until the time of service.
