Schuette, Barbara Ann "Barb" Barbara Ann "Barb" Schuette, 58, Greenleaf, passed away Thursday, Sept. 7, 2006, at her home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on Feb. 5, 1948, to the late Norbert and Agnes (Corrigan) Hutjens. She was raised on the family farm in De Pere and attended Wrightstown High School. On April 20, 1968, she married Paul Schuette at St. Joseph's Church in De Pere. Barb was employed at Moore Response Graphics for over 35 years until her retirement in 2002. She was an active member of St. Mary's Church in Greenleaf, participating in the choir and on numerous committees. She also assisted her husband in volunteer activities for the Greenleaf Fireman's Department. Barb's interests included traveling, reading, and spending time at the family cottage up north.
Barb is survived by her husband, Paul; her daughters, Amy (Brad) Bowman, Sherwood; Jeanne (Kevin) Vickman, Wrightstown; and Kristy Schuette, Green Bay; and her beloved granddaughters, Emma Bowman and Jordan Vickman. She is further survived by her sisters, Mary Jane (Gerald) Gerrits, Bonnie (Richard) Kolocheski, Marleen (Juan) Gonzales, Janice Hutjens; and her brother, Gerald (Marilyn) Hutjens; her sister and brothers-in-law, Barbara Young, Richard (Debra) Schuette, and Mark (Susan) Schuette; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her mother and father-in-law, Bernard and Marion (Slatky) Schuette; her stepmother-in-law, Lucille Schuette; her brother-in-law, David Schuette; and her sister-in-law, Debra (Schiesl) Hutjens.
Friends and family may call from 2 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2006, at St. Mary's Church, Day Street, Greenleaf. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 5:30 p.m. following visitation with Father Robert Kabat officiating, with a luncheon to follow. The Ryan Funeral Home is assisting the family.

The family wishes to express their deep appreciation to the staff at Unity Hospice, St. Vincent's Hospital oncology unit, Green Bay Oncology, the Curative, UW-Madison Hospital and the many family and friends who assisted in Barb's care throughout the years.
