Borman, William "Bill" William "Bill" Borman, 74, Green Bay, died Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2006. He was born March 28, 1932, in De Pere, to William Frances and Catherine (Cornelissen) Borman. Bill was a member of St. Jude Catholic Parish. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Bill re-enlisted in the Air Force, where he was stationed in numerous countries during his 20-year career, retiring in 1976. After his retirement, he resided with his sister and brother-in-law, Bernice and Jim Frisque in Green Bay.
Survivors include a sister, Ruth Etapa, Akron, Ohio; a brother and sister-in-law, Ron and Karin Borman, Des Plaines, Ill.; two sisters-in-law, Jill Borman, Green Bay; Joni Borman, Illinois; a brother-in-law, Ray Peters, Appleton; his faithful companion, Holly; many, many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Leland (Mary) Borman, James Borman, Donald Borman; four sisters, Bernice (Jim) Frisque, Jeanne (John) Brandeis, Pat (Hank) Harloff, Marjorie Peters; and a brother-in-law, Andrew Etapa.
Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday (today). A Parish Wake Service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday. Friends may also call at St. Jude Catholic Church, from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.
