Age 70, died Tuesday afternoon following a long illness. She was born September 21, 1911 the daughter of Lawrence and Mary [Van Den Heuvel] Van Dinter in Little Chute and lived in Oshkosh the last 20 years. She was employed with the Zwicker Knitting Mills for many years, and for the Lenox Candle Company, Oshkosh retiring in 1982. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Survivors include a daughter; Mrs. Wade [Beverly] Leuthold, Neenah; a brother; Constance [Cooney] and his wife Marie Van Dinter, Appleton; a sister; Lucille Vander Zanden, Kimberly; a sister in-law; Rose Van Dinter, Appleton; four grandchildren; David Talarczyk, Neenah; Robert and Jacqueline Talarczyk, Appleton, and Kari Leuthold, Neenah.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter Mariline in 1938; four brothers; Neary, Peter, Lester and Henry Van Dinter; two sisters; Anna Schnese and Harriet Verbeten.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 200 E. Fremont St, with Father Wilbert N. Staudenmaier officiating. Interment will be in St. Johns cemetery, Little Chute. Friends may call at the Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior St., from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday, and after 8 a.m. Friday until the cortege leaves for the church. The prayer and scripture service will be at 8 p.m. Thursday.
