- Linda C. Hurley, 65, Appleton, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Wed. April 27, 2016 at Appleton Medical Center following her second battle with cancer. She was born on Oct. 7, 1950 in Milwaukee to the late Joseph and Elaine (Gosz) Zeegers. Linda was united in marriage to Thomas O. Hurley on Sept. 2, 1972.
Linda enjoyed biking was an avid reader and her and Tom enjoyed going to area Supper Clubs. She loved her family and time spent together especially with her sisters on Saturday mornings.
She will be greatly missed by her husband, Tom Hurley, Appleton; children: Paul Hurley, Appleton and Shelley (Daniel) Van Hoof, Kaukauna; grandchildren: Brady Hurley, Evelyn and Calvin Van Hoof; siblings: Robert Zeegers, Appleton; Jean (Russ) Berggren, Hortonville; Christine (Leon) Schabow, Appleton; Kathy (Charles) Spoehr, Appleton; Jeff Zeegers, Appleton; Nancy (Cyril) Wimberger, Appleton; Paula Mueller, Appleton; Matthew (Ann) Zeegers, Appleton and Andrew (Shelley) Zeegers, Appleton; mother-in-law: Marcella Campshure; sister-in-law: Sandra Hurley; brother-in-law: Bill (Diane) Hurley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Mark Zeegers.
A Mass of Resurrection for Linda will be held at 12 PM Noon on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at St. Pius X Catholic Church with Rev. Thomas Farrell officiating. Friends may visit the family directly at church on Saturday from 10 AM until the time of Mass. Entombment will take place in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Appleton.
