      Age 33, died unexpectedly on Sunday, February 9, 2003 in Florence County. He was born on January 14, 1970 son of Paul and Nancy (Webb) Calaway of De Pere. He was a gradate of West De Pere High School. Corey was employed with Carl Bowers & Sons of Kaukauna in which he enjoyed greatly. Corey enjoyed snowmobiling, fishing, hunting, and partying with his friends and family. He was a dedicated member of the De Pere Snow Owl Snowmobile club.

      Corey is survived by his parents Nancy and Paul Calaway his sister and brother in law, Margaret and Michael Pierog, his sister Shannon Calaway, and his recent fiancee Barb Sohr. His niece Johanna Bixby, and his nephews Dalton and Evan Pierog, Corbin Calaway, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins and many friends survive him.

      Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the RYAN FUNERAL HOME De Pere, with a parish prayer service at 4 p.m. Visitation will continue after 9:30 a.m. Friday at Our Lady Of Lourdes Catholic Church De Pere, until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am. with Fr. Conrad Kratz, O. Praem, officiating burial in Mt. Calvary cemetery.

      The family would like to express sincere thanks and appreciation to Dr. Gerald Bayer, and the wonderful St. Vincent oncology unit staff. Special thanks to Monique Vanstechelman for all the loving care she provided to Corey and family. Also a sincere thanks to Dr. Timothy Kennedy and all the family and friends.
