- Lawrence F. Fischer
525 N. Oneida St.. Appleton
Age 66. passed away Wednesday,
December 25, 1991 after a lingering
illness. He was born April 4, 1925 in
Appleton, the son of the late Francis
and Anna (DeBruin) Fischer. Lawrence
worked at Allis Chalmers for
25 years. He was a member of St. Joseph
Catholic Church. He is survived
by his wife, Evelyn; two sons and a
daughter.in-law: Dennis Fischer and
fiancee, Suzanne Andrews, both of
Appleton; Duane and Sue Fischer,
Appleton; three brothers and twe
sisters-in-law: Francis Fischer, Co·
lumbia, South Carolina; Cyril and
Joan Fischer, Appleton; Jerry aoc.
Judy Fischer, Greenville, Wisconsin:
four sisters and four brothers-in-law:
Mary Ann and Ben Scherer, WiI·
Iiamsburg, Virginia; Patricia and
Garth Fahrbach, Albuquerque;
Donna and Don Wilson, Canyon
City, Colorado; Verna and Richard
Rohe, Neenah; and many nieces and
nephews. He was preceded in death
by a sister, Virginia Aren. Funeral
services will be held Saturday, December
28, 1991 at 11 a.m. at the
Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N.
Superior St. Friends and family may
call at the Wichmann Funeral Home
on Friday from 4 until 8 p.m. and
again on Saturday from 9 a.m. until
the time of service. A memorial fund
is being established.
