    • Elizabeth “Betty Ann” Edlbeck, 89, of Wausaukee, Wis., passed away on Monday, June 3, 2019, and the Gates opened and welcomed her with loving hands. She was born in Marinette, Wis., on April 28, 1930; daughter of the late Albert and Julia (O’Neil) Bernardy.
      Betty was united in marriage to her husband, Richard, on June 24, 1950, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Walsh, Wis.; he preceded her in death on Oct. 10, 2005. She was an avid cribbage player and loved round-table discussions as well as baking. Sunday dinners were always at Gramma Betty’s. She had a wonderful sense of humor and thoroughly enjoyed watching her Green Bay Packers.
      Betty is survived by her six children: Dale (Bonnie) Edlbeck of Marinette, Mary Jo (Ward) Parmenter of Crivitz, Wis., Jeannie (Mark) Taylor of Wausaukee, Bill (Karren) Edlbeck of Wausaukee, Patrick (Michelle) Edlbeck of Porterfield, Wis., and Lori (Griz) Taylor of Wausaukee; 16 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard “Dick;” her grandson, Tony; five brothers; and three sisters.
      Mass of Christian Burial will be 2 p.m. on Friday, June 7, 2019, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Wausaukee, with Father Frederick Sserugga presiding. Family and friends may call at church from 11 a.m. until the time of Mass.
      Burial will take place in Evergreen Cemetery.
