Richard George Edlebeck Richard George Edlbeck, 79, died Oct. 10. He was born in Wausaukee on Aug. 17, 1926 to Anton and Caroline (DeGroot) Edlbeck. He grew up and graduated from the Wausaukee schools. He married the former Elizabeth Ann (Bernardy) on June 24, 1950. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and he retired as an electrician/lineman for Wisconsin Public Service Corporation.
He is survived by his wife; six children, Dale (Bonnie) Edlbeck of Peshtigo, Mrs. Ward (Mary Jo) Parmenter of Pleasant Prairie, Mrs. Mark (Jeannie) Taylor and William Edlbeck of Wausaukee, Pat (Michelle) Edlbeck of Porterfield, and Mrs. Dennis (Lori) Taylor of Wausaukee; 17 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; four sisters, Bette Novak of Wausaukee, Catherine (Warren) DeLaet of Wausaukee, Sister Lucille Edlbeck of Milwaukee and Rose (Ernie) Ryczek of Abrams and one brother, Bernard Edlbeck of Green Bay; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Anton and his mother Caroline Edlbeck; three brothers Fred, Ed and Harold Edlbeck and three sisters Cecelia Edlbeck, Theresa Dessart and Sister Eleanor Edlbeck.
Visitation will be held at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Wausaukee on Thursday, Oct. 13 from 3 to 5 PM.
Mass of the Christian Burial will follow at 5 PM, with Father Donald Burkart and Father Patrick Bernardy officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Wausaukee, Friday, Oct. 14 at 10:00 AM.
