- Laura B. Loberger Little Chute, Wis. Age 79, passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2000, at Outagamie County Health Care Center.
She was born on May 8, 1921, in Wisconsin Rapids, the daughter of the late Gustave and Clara (Stueck) Appel. On July 12, 1938, she married Jerome Loberger in Wisconsin Rapids. She was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church. Laura's greatest love in her life was her family and friends, and she enjoyed bowling, playing cards, and just having a good time. She is survived by her two sons, Victor (Evelyn) Loberger of Appleton, and Jerry Loberger of Phoenix, Arizona her two daughters, Betty (Ralph) Koehnke of Appleton, and Judy (Steve) Rutten of Little Chute her grandchildren, Dan Loberger, Terry (Brenda) Loberger, Kris (Jeff) King, all of Appleton Tim (Kelly) Loberger, Chad (Kristin) Loberger, Robin (Michael) Rockwood, all of Arizona Kim (Mike) Peterson of Appleton, Karrie (Brian) Knuppel of Greenville, Scott (Michelle) Koehnke of Appleton, Doug Koehnke of Appleton, Kevin (Anne) Blaese of Kimberly, Laura (Randy) Jeche of Appleton, Kyle Blaese and special friend Wendy Vandenberg of Appleton her step grandchildren, John Rutten of Little Chute and Hope Rutten of Madison. Laura is also survived by her 17 great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Loberger, Gus and Whitney King, Shannon and Jerry Loberger, Sabrina, Amber, and Tanner Rockwood, Jennifer and Andrew Peterson, Leslie and Trenton Knuppel, Brandon and Evan Koehnke, Coy and Brock Jeche her step great-granddaughter Emma Stephenson, her sister Doris Trudell, her brother-in- law Joe (Vicki) Loberger of Forest Junction, her two sisters-in-law Lucille (Merle) Kimple of Florida, Lily Loberger, and a longtime special friend Evelyn McGinnis of Little Chute.
* She was preceded in death by her husband Jerome, her two brothers Arnold and Edmund, her infant great-grandson Steven Koehnke, her son-in-law Roger Blaese, two brothers-in-law Glenn Loberger and Jack Trudell, and her sister-in-law Joyce Appel. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, August 30, 2000, at 11 a.m. at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Combined Locks with the Reverend Steven M. Nelson officiating. Interment will take place at Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. A memorial fund is being established. The family wishes to express their thanks to the staff of One West at Outagamie County Health Care Center for their loving care and kindness of our mother.
