Norbert 'Bub' Daanen
Norbert 'Bub' Daanen, 66, 509 E. Ontario St., De Pere, died Saturday in a Green Bay hospital after a long illness. He was born December 2, 1903 in De Pere and lived here all his life. Mr. Daanen and the former Mary Joosten were married September 5, 1932 in Little Chute. He was employed at the Broadway Chevrolet and Oldsmobile Garage for 29 years, until his retirement. Mr. Daanen was a member of St. Mary Holy Name Society. His parents and four brothers preceded him in death.
Survivors are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Stanley [Shirley] Lubinski, Crosse Point, Michigan; and Mrs. Randall [Doris] Cavill, De Pere; three sons, Roger, Green Bay; Howard and Marvin, both of De Pere; 13 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Etta VandeWalle, Green Bay; Mrs. Marle Jansen, De Pere; one brother, Francis, Sturgeon Bay.
At Cotter Funeral Home, De Pere, after 2 p.m. Parish and Holy Name Prayer service 8 p.m. Funeral 10 a.m. Tuesday, St. Mary Catholic Church, De Pere, with the Rev. Raymond Hietpas officiating. Burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
