  June 8, 2009 Vermeern, John W. John W. Vermeern, 55, Appleton, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2009. He was born on July 30, 1953, son of John P. and Margaret (Brown) Vermeern. John is survived by his two children, Jennifer (Jerrod) Vaness and John C. Vermeern. He is further survived by a sister, Marie (Ed) Barthell, two brothers, Paul and Richard (Kristina) Vermeern. A memorial service for John will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 11, 2009, at Valley Funeral Home.
