    • Mary Phyllis Ambrosius, 88, De Pere, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Wednesday afternoon, August 8, 2017. She was born on January 10, 1929 to Arthur and Veronica (Powers) Stephan in Askeaton, Wisconsin.

      Phyllis attended Wrightstown High School. On January 23, 1952, she married Richard "Rick" Ambrosius at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Wrightstown. Together, they owned Ambrosius Oil. Phyllis also worked for American Tour and Travel, now Lamers Bus Lines.

      In her younger years, Phyllis enjoyed the Mid Vallee Wednesday Women's Golf League and the Friday Couples' Golf League. She loved traveling, and playing Sheephead and Cribbage. For many years, she was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Wrightstown and volunteered for the Christian Mothers.

      More than anything, Phyllis loved spending time with her family.

      She is survived by her children, Peggy (Jim) Van Schyndel, Pat (Jim) Lamb, Mary (Alan) Braemer, Julie (Bryan) DeBaker and Tina (Bruce) Edinger.

      Phyllis is further survived by her grandchildren, Renee Van Schyndel, Steven Lamb, Eric (Brooke) and Nick Braemer, Matthew and Logan DeBaker, Elizabeth and Johnathan Edinger, great-grandson Jack Braemer.

      She is even further survived by her siblings, Bette Ribarchek and Judy Kuffel, siblings-in-law Clara (Kenny) Kamps, Kelly Verstagen and Marilyn "Tootie" Ambrosius, as well as many nieces, nephews and other members of the extended family.

      She was preceded in death by her husband, Rick, parents, Art and Veronica, parents-in-law, Louie and Marie Ambrosius. She was further preceded by Myrtle and Will Ryan, Margaret and Earl Huebner, Verna and John "Jeep" LeRoy, Doris Verstagen, Bob and Gen Ambrosius, Marlin Ambrosius, Frank Kuffel, Donald Nytes, Donald "Donny" Ribarchek, Gary LeRoy, Paul Kamps, David Kuffel.

      Family and friends may visit at St. Clare Parish, 437 Main Street, Wrightstown, beginning at 9:00 AM on Saturday, August 12, 2017. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 AM with Father Brian Wideman officiation. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery.
