      Age 81, died at 10:55 a.m. Tuesday, January 10, 1984, following a long illness. He was born August 4, 1902, in Green Bay and had been an area resident most of his life. Mr. Van Eyck was employed by the S.C. Shannon Company for 20 years until his retirement in 1967. He was a member of the Riverview Lutheran Church and the Appleton Golden Agers Club. Survivors include his wife, Josephine Van Eyck; three daughters and sons-in-law: Betty and Carl Pickering, Appleton; Delores and Wayne Glasnap, Fair Oaks, Calfiornia; Darleen and Earl Pasano, Neenah; a son and daughter-in-law, Lee and Judy Van Eyck, San Diego, California; two stepsons and stepdaughters-in-law; Gerald and Joanne Brandt, Watertown, Wisconsin; Kenneth and Bonnie Brandt, Shawano; five grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; five stepgreat-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Clara (Blashe) Van Eyck, his sister, Evelyn Blashe, and his parent, Anton and Angeline (Van Rooy) Van Eyck. The complete funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 14, 1984, at the Wichman Funeral Home, with the Rev. Lyle Luchterhand officiating. Entombment will be in the Star of Hope Mausoleum. Friends may call at the Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior St., from 4 until 8 p.m. Friday and after 8 a.m. Saturday until the time of the service. A memorial fund is being established.
