Age 70, died unexpectedly Friday morning. He was born October 20, 1905 in the Town of Vanden Broek and had been employed for Kimberly Clark Corp., prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Little Chute Golden Agers, of which he was a past president and a member of the Kimberly Clark Corp. Quarter Century Club.
He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Robert C. [Mary Jane] Hartjes, and Mrs. Richard [Ruby] Sanderfoot, both of Little Chute; Mrs. Richard [Julie] Wippich, Rt.1, Kaukauna; a son, Kenneth, Combined Locks; three brothers, John, Kaukauna; Ray, Appleton; and Henry Gloudemans, Little Chute; three sisters, Mrs. Joseph [Harriet] Van Zeeland, Kimberly; Mrs. Henry [Dora] Van Groll, Appleton; Mrs. Urban [Corneilia] Coenen, Kaukauna; 15 grandchildren, and a great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ida, in 1975.
The funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. John Catholic Church with the Rev. John Blaha officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Verkuilen Funeral Home after 3 p.m. Sunday. There will be a Golden Ager rosary at 6:30 p.m. Sunday and a parish prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
