Seidl, Patricia M. (Grishaber) Patty Seidl, 66, Darboy, passed away at home surrounded by the love of her family on Saturday July 29, 2006. Pat was born June 19, 1940, in Appleton the daughter of the late Paul and Loretta (Williams) Grishaber. She resided in the Appleton area all of her life and was a graduate of Appleton High School Class of 1958. Pat was united in marriage to Robert Seidl on April 26, 1961, sharing 45 years together. She was formerly employed by Zwicker Knitting Mills and Photoland. Pat will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her best times were spent with her family and the joys of her life were her grandchildren. She enjoyed crafts and was especially gifted at knitting, sewing, and needlepoint.
She will be deeply missed by her husband Robert; her four children and their families: Timothy Seidl of Freedom and his son Joseph, Terry Seidl of Kaukauna and his children Brandon and Tyler, Randy Seidl (fiancee Alison Skarzynski) of Darboy and his children Arianna and Taylor, and Paula (Mark) Menting of Darboy and their children Abby, Emily, and Allison; sisters Barbara Stuyvenberg of Kimberly, Marguerite Heenan of Appleton; brothers James Grishaber of Appleton and Ronald (Judy) Grishaber of Appleton; also many aunts, uncles, nieces. nephews, other relatives and dear friends including Annie, Phyllis, Marlene, and Ruth.
In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by a brother Kenneth in 1967, a brother-in-law Gerald Stuyvenberg in 1992 and several aunts and uncles.
The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday August 2, 2006, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church Darboy with Fr. Tom Pomeroy officiating. Friends may call at the Brettschneider-Trettin-Lederer Funeral Chapel from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and then directly at the church from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the service. Burial will take place at the parish cemetery. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established.
We know you are safe in Heaven above, to watch over your children and send us you love. Heaven is blessed and now you are home. Thank you dear mother for all you have done. With all our love, your family.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Drs. Phillip Vogt, Avi Bar-Lev, and Jeffrey Klingbeil, also to the nursing staff at AMC and Theda Care Hospice.
