  Appleton Post Crescent Robert J. Gertz 1316 Sullivan Avenue Kaukauna November 3, 1979 Age 44, died unexpectedly early Saturday. He was born Oct. 18, 1935, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Appleton, and was a lifelong resident of Kaukauna. He was employed at the lab at the Institute of Paper Chemistry for the past 23 years and had been 4th Ward alderman in Kaukauna for the past nine years. Survivors include his wife, Sue (Weigman) Gertz; his parents, Joseph and Kitsy Gertz; three daughters, Amy, Sarah and Cindy; two sisters, Mrs. Don (Jeanne) Gorzelitz and Mrs. Don (Pat) VanGrinsven, all from Kaukauna. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Kaukauna, with a concelebrated mass with the Rv. Earl Brouchoud and the Rev. Gary Dantinne officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Greenwood Funeral Home after 3 p.m. Sunday. There will be a prayer service at 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
