Ketels, Ann Rose
Ann Rose (DeLeeuw) Ketels passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 13, 2009, at the St. Paul Home in Kaukauna. Ann was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was born in 1919 to the late Henry and Catherine DeLeeuw in Kimberly. She married her late husband, Henry at St. Mary's Church in Kaukauna in 1942. Ann loved her family, baking, candy making, shopping and planting her flower garden.
Ann is survived by her children: Judy (Jack) Weiland of Minneapolis, Joan (John) Nicholas of Eau Claire, David (Susan) Ketels of Eau Claire, Donald Ketels of Kaukauna and Debbra Ketels of Kaukauna: nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, her sisters, Rose Kraus, Betty Courtney, Marlene (Jim) Van Abel, her brother, Connie (Lois) DeLeeuw, her sister-in-law, Joyce DeLeeuw and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry, her siblings, Dorothy (John) Oppelt, Madge (Cal) Perry, Teresa (Robert) Hackstock, Joe DeLeeuw and Harold DeLeeuw.
A Funeral Liturgy for Ann will be held on Friday, October 16, 2009, at 11 a.m. at ST. KATHARINE-DREXEL - ST. MARY SITE, 119 W. Seventh St., Kaukauna with Fr. Jerry Pastors officiating. Family and friends may visit at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of the mass. Interment will take place in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Kaukauna.
