    • Mary Ida Riley passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2019 in Reno after a very short illness. Mary was born in Little Chute Wisconsin and grew up on her parents dairy farm. She married Robert Riley on August 28, 1950 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Alturas. Mary is survived by her brother Kenneth (Gloria) Sol in Wisconsin and her two sons Roger (Ramona) and Gary (Tina). She also has many nieces and nephews in Wisconsin. She is proceeded in death by her husband of 62 years, Robert, her nephew David Sol, and her brother Robert Sol. She was active in the Altar Society at Sacred Heart for many years and was known for her German Chocolate birthday cakes and Christmas cookies. She enjoyed travels to Hawaii, Yellowstone, and the Southwest, and visiting with her many friends. She especially enjoyed long drives to see her beloved mountains, lakes and wildlife in Modoc County. Services for Mary will be held at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Friday January 3 at 11:00 a.m.
