Temporarily of 670-0 Stonehedge Lane, Appleton, age 81, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, diedSunday, December 9, 1990 following a courageous struggle with cancer. She was born March 28, 1909 in Ellsworth, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Bemard and Ada (Bussewitz)
Hifgendorf. Myrtle moved to Appleton in 1925 and graduated from Appleton High School in 1927.She was united in marriage to Raymond
Gloudemans on August 11, 1945 in Appleton sharing 45 yearstogether. She was formerly employed
by Dr. Victor Marshall andDr. Carl Neidhold. Myrtle was an avid golfer and bridge player and enjoyed
doing handicrafts, however, her main interest in life was being a good wife, mother and homemaker. She was a member of First English Lutheran Church. Survivors include her husband, Raymond; two sons and daughters-in-law: Robert and
Sue Gloudemans, Phoenix, Arizona; John and Linda Gloudemans, Albuquerque,
New Mexico; seven grandChildren:
Andrew, Caroline, Cheryl, Phillip, ilia, David and Matthew; a brother and sister-in-law: Donald and Lois Hilgendorf, Stone Mountain,
Georgia; two sisters and a brother-in-law: Mrs. Vera Humbert, Appleton; Betty and Donald Brockman,
Neenah. Besides her parents,Myrtle was preceded in death by a brother, Howard. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Highland Memorial Park Cemetery
Chapel, 3131 N. Richmond Street, with the Rev. Chris Quello officiating.
Entombment will be inĀ· Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Brettschneider-Trettin-
Lederer Funeral Chapel, 606 N. Oneida Street, from 4 until 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 10 a.m. Wednesday
directly at the cemetery chapel until the time of service. A memorial fund has been established.
