  Hartjes, Mary Magdelena (Romenesko) 1956 Appleton Post Crescent dated 10/10/1956; Mrs. Albert Hartjes, Mrs. Albert Hartjes, 82, Little Chute, died at noon Tuesday after a long illness. She was born January 16th, 1874, in Freedom and lived in Little Chute most of her life. Funeral services will be held at 9:00 Friday morning at the St. John Catholic Church, Little Chute, with burial in the parish cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 8:00 Wednesday and Thursday evenings at the Verkuilen funeral home, Little Chute, where friends may call after 7:00 this evening. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Martin Vandenheuvel, of Little Chute and Mrs. John Johnson, of Kimberly; one brother, will William Romenesko, of Freedom; three sisters, Mrs. Joseph Conrad, of Freedom, Mrs. John Bougie, of West DePere, and Mrs. Matt VanHoof, of Little Chute; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
