King
Born March 14, 1941 went to his heavenly home on May 23, 2002 after a long road of dementia. After graduating from Menasha High School he went on to serving many years in the Navy Airforce. During his younger years, he was a drummer for the Rockers, a local band in the Fox Cities. Besides playing drums he loved playing piano and accordion. Bob also had a great love for Muskie fishing up at Little John Lake and playing golf. He worked as a deputy for the Grand Chute Police Department for several years before beginning his employment of 26 years at Miller Electric. Bob started as a plant worker and moved his way up to the Senior Production Scheduler. He received many awards and recognitions for his participation in Junior Achievement. Bob was also a part of the Omro Parachute Club. He was an extremely good provider and had a special place in his heart to help people less fortunate.
Bob is survived by a daughter, Amy (Steve) Dorn and two other adopted children a sister, Judy E. (Raymond) Ehrich along with three nieces and a nephew. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Tamra Lyn Vanderlois and parents Willard (Bud) Vanderlois and Dorothy Woodworth.
Private family service were held.
I believe there are angels amongst us sent down to us from somewhere up above. They come to you and me in our darkest hours to show us how to live, to teach us how to give, to guide us with the light of love.
