Harold Hietpas 3526 E. Wisconsin Ave., Appleton, age 62, died unexpectedly July 5, 1979 at 7:30 PM Thursday. He was born November 9, 1916 in Appleton. He was a former partner of Hietpas Dairy. He was a member of St. John's Catholic church, was an usher for 40 years, a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters, and a member of the Fox Valley Golf Club.
He is survived by his wife, Vi Mc Clone Hietpas; a daughter, Pat, and a son in-law, Bill Dercks, Kaukauna; a son, David, and a daughter in-law, Mary Hietpas, Racine; four grandchildren; Tessa Dercks; Also Betty and Howie Kieffer and family, Marinette; Jackie and Clyde Van Dynhoven and family, Little Chute; a sister, Mrs. Roman (Marie) Salm, Appleton; two brothers; Jake, Little Chute; and Bert, Appleton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nick Hietpas, a sister, Dorie Vanden Heuvel, and a brother, John Hietpas. A concelebrated mass bill be at 11 AM Monday at St. John's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Msgr. James Vanden Hogen and the Rev. Norbert Vand Loo and the Rev. Roger Mc Clone officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call between 4 and 9 PM Sunday at Verkuilen Funeral Home, Little Chute, and from 9:30 AM Monday until time of the service. There will be a parish prayer service at 7:30 PM Sunday. A memorial fund is being established.
