- Kenneth E. Menting, age 72, of 11507 Swan Road, Kellnersville, died on Tuesday, July 26, 2011, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center.
Ken was born on October 5, 1938, in Appleton, son of the late Edward and Harriet (Van Roy) Menting. On November 25, 1961, he married the former Anne Cavanaugh at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Maple Grove. She preceded him in death in 1996.
Survivors include two brothers and sisters-in-law: Gary (Caroline) Menting, Darboy; Edward Menting, Suring; Alvis Menting, Appleton; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Thomas F. Cavanaugh and special friend Evie Wiesner, Reedsville; Lawrence (Sandie) Cavanaugh, Brillion; Jeff Cavanaugh, Harwood Heights, IL; Michael Cavanaugh, Reedsville; Sara (Gerald) Sloma, Brillion; Julie (Bob) Stedl, Greenleaf; Barbara (Gary) Borchardt, Reedsville. Many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents; his wife: Anne Menting; infant sister: Ann Menting; two brothers: Don and Bob Menting; two sisters-in-law: Donna Menting and Jean Cavanaugh.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. (TONIGHT) Friday, July 29, 2011, at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, 1124 Main Street, Kellnersville. Rev. Ronald Colombo will officiate. Burial will take place at Knollwood Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home tonight from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m. Online condolences may be sent to www.jensreinboldandpfeffer.com In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Kenneth's name.
