  APPLETON POST CRESCENT Tuesday, June 9, 1992 Alphonse H. Coenen Franciscan Care Center Appleton Formerly of Little Chute, age 84, died at 11:30 a.m. Monday, June 8, 1992. He was born October 31, 1907 in Little Chute to the late August and Hattie [Wildenberg] Coenen. Al had worked for the Kimberly Clark Corp., Kimberly, for 42 years prior to his retirement. He was a member of St. John Catholic Church, Little Chute, the Catholic Order of Foresters and the Kimberly Clark Quarter Century Club. Survivors include a daughter and sons in-law, Mary and Robert Weyenberg, Darboy; Two sons and daughters in-law, Marvin and Alice Coenen, Kimberly; Jerry and Shirley Coenen, Greenleaf; a sister in-law, Mrs. Josephine Hietpas, Little Chute; 14 grandchildren, Mark and Sharlene Coenen, Kimberly; Paul, Alicia, Kara, Deanna Coenen, Greenleaf; Jenna [Randy] Geurts, Greenleaf; Joe [Lisa] Coenen, Kaukauna; Bruce Weyenberg, Blain, Minnesota; Roger Weyenberg, Appleton; David [Sandra] Weyenberg, New London; Gary Weyenberg, Menasha; Lyle Weyenberg, Santa Barbara, California; Allen Weyenberg, Darboy; six great grandchildren, Kimberly and Alexandria Coenen, Rebecca and Marie Coenen, Alayssa and Mara Geurts. He was preceded in death by his wife Marcella in 1972; and a brother, Peter. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday from St. John Catholic Church, Little Chute with the Rev. Msgr. James Vanden Hogen officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Verkuilen Funeral Home, Little Chute from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday [today] and from 9:30 a.m. Wednesday until the time of services. There will be a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday [today].
