  Obit. Brown County Democrat 1-4-1907 Mrs. John Kerkhoff whose death on Dec. 25, was briefly mentioned in last weeks issue had bee n ailing for some years with diabetes, which was the cause of death. She was taken to St. Eli zabeth hospital some time ago and had her right foot taken off. Mrs. Kerkhoff was born in Hol land about 67 years ago and came to this country at the age of 7 years. she lived in Hollandt own about 34 years, then moved to Wrightstown and lived there the rest of her life. She leave s to mourn the loss of four sons and six daughters; Peter Kerkhoff of East Wrightstown, Henr y of West Hollandtown, William of Sturgeon Bay, Andrew of Wrightstown, Mrs. George Kempen an d Mrs. John DeBrook of Wrightstown Mrs. William Vannieuwenhoven of South Kaukauna, Mrs. Barne y Klister of Hilbert, Mrs. John Liebergen of Wrightstown and Miss Katherine at home. The fune ral was held from St. Paul's church Friday morning with interment at the Catholic cemetery . A large number of mourning relatives and friends were in attendance. The pallbearers ere, A lbert Baeten, Martin Van Zeeland, Johnnie Verbeten, Peter Liebergen, John Rademaker and Will iam Lamers. Farewell dear mother, sweet thy rest, Weary with years and worn with pains, Farewell, till i n a happier land, We shall behold thy face again.
