Floyd M. Ebben, 1213 Henry St., Neenah, age 72, died Wednesday, March 10, 1993 at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center following a lingering illness. He was born July 25, 1920 in Mattoon, Wisconsin, the son of the late Frank and Rosella (Van Dyke) Ebben. He was a 1938 graduate of St. Mary High School, Menasha. Floyd married Dorothy J. Waskiewicz on December 27, 1941. He had been employed by Neenah Foundry Co. for 43 years before retiring in 1985. He was a member of their Quarter Century Club. He was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Neenah, and an usher of the church; Knights of Columbus, Neenah Council; Retired Mens Fellowship; YMCA. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II and VFW Post 10893 of Neenah.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; a daughter and son in-law; Joan and Ron Heinz, Bellevue, Nebraska; four sons and three daughters in-law; Thomas and Sherrill, Wichita, Kansas; Robert and Sharon, New Berlin; John and Mary, Neenah; Steve, St. Paul, Minnesota; 12 grandchildren, a great grandchild and brother and sister in-law, David and Beverly, Neenah; two sisters and a brother in-law, Lillian Platten, Black Creek; Ruth and Norbert Kropidlowski, Milwaukee.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Vivian McNutt; and a brother, Dan. Services will be held Saturday, March 13, 1993 at 10:30 a.m. at the Kessler Funeral Home and at 11 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church with Rev. David R. Baeten officiating. Interment will be in St. Margaret Cemetery, Neenah. Friends may call at the Kessler Funeral Home from 4 until 8 p.m. ib Friday where a prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. A memorial has been established.
