Age 64, died Saturday, September 4, 1993, at home. He was born December 31, 1928 in Little Chute to the late Peter and Laura Hietpas Coenen. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He served 11 1/2 years with the National Guards. He was employed with the Wisconsin Wire Works in Appleton and the Artex {means] service until his retirement. He also served as clerk of the Town of Vanden Broek, and their Fired Department.
He is survived by his wife Ruth, three daughters and three sons in-law, Mrs. Donald [Constance] Koller, Iron Mountain, Michigan; Mrs. Michael [Candace] Bosch, Combined Locks, and Mrs. Daniel [Jacqueline] Nelsen, Brillion; three sisters and two brothers in-law, Alice and Richard Vandehey, Winneconne; LaVern and Richard McCarthy, Appleton; and Mrs. Norbert [Marilyn] Van Dyke, Kimberly; four brothers and four sisters in-law, Ray and Maggie Coenen and Lloyd and Julie Coenen, all of Kaukauna, Norm and Rose Coenen, Appleton; Bill and Annette Coenen, Wrightstown; one step son, Brent W. Phare, Green Bay; three step daughters, Leesa [Wayne] Erickson-Siegel, Neenah; Laurie [Michael] Benz, Green Bay; Lynette [John] Ortiz, Washington; five grandchildren, Derek Koller, Christine Haen and Kenneth, Danielle and Jennifer Nelsen; step grandchildren and many nieces and nephew; he will be missed by his special cat, Goldie.
Friends may call at St. John Catholic Church in Little Chute after 5 p.m. Tuesday, September 7, 1993. A memorial mass will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. The Findeisen-Greiser Funeral Home is assisting the family.
