      Bernadette A. Joyce, Parkside Care Center, Little Chute, age 81, died Sunday, August 20, 1995 at Parkside Care Center. She was born October 19, 1913 in Kaukauna, the daughter of the late John Hooyman and Mary Schlude. She was a graduate of Outagamie County Teachers College. Bernadette was a Kindergarten and substitute teacher for many years and an avid reader. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church.

      She is survived by a daughter and a son in-law; Mary Jo and Lee Crouch, Lakewood; four grandchildren; Steven (Sandra) Mahn, Kaukauna; Michael (Peggy) Mahn, Kaukauna; Deborah Stoneburner, Kaukauna; Kari (Lee) Agen, Appleton; seven great grandchildren; Brian (Nicole) Mahn, Cory Mahn, Joel Mahn, Aaron Stoneburner, Richelle Verkuilen, Zachary and Katie Agen; a great great grandchild, Tyler Mahn; a sister, Margaret Coleman, Kaukauna; a special friend, Wayne Smith.

      She was preceded in death by her first husband, Fred Keidatz in 1950; her second husband; Sheridan Joyce in 1963; a sister, Rose Mary Schmitt.

      Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 23, 1995 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Kaukauna with Fr. Jack Mullarkey officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at the Fargo Funeral Home, 400 W. Wisconsin Ave., Kaukauna from 5 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday.
