      Milhaupt, Richard "Dickie" Richard J. "Dickie" Milhaupt, age 82, of Appleton, passed into the loving arms of his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, June 13, 2006, at Franciscan Care Center. Dickie was one of twin sons born on April 11, 1924, in Appleton, to the late Leo P. and Florence (Bootz) Milhaupt. Dickie was a happy, outgoing, courageous, and loving person to everyone he met. He was a very prayerful man with a radiant smile. Dickie loved to fish and was lifelong Packer fan.

      Survivors include his brothers and sisters: Jean (Alan) Mory, Appleton, Wisconsin; Larry (Joan) Milhaupt, Appleton; and Peg De Steffen, Woodstock, Illinois. He is further survived by his sisters-in-law: Augusta Milhaupt, Ashville, North Carolina; Jane Mihaupt, New London; Betty Milhaupt, Appleton; his brother-in-law, Arthur Hofkens, Appleton; his Godchild, Ann Wydeven, Milwaukee; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

      He was preceded in death by his infant twin brother, Donald; his step-mother, Mary Milhaupt; his sister, Winifred R. Hofkens, and his brothers: Leo C., Kenneth J., and Robert N. Milhaupt.

      The Funeral Liturgy will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 17, 2006, at ST. JOSEPH CATHOLIC CHURCH, 410 West Lawrence Street, Appleton, with Fr. Larry Abler officiating. Friends may call directly at the church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Appleton.
