Vissers, Gary J. Gary J. Vissers, of Kaukauna, died at his residence on Wednesday, May 24, 2006. He was 57. Gary was born in Appleton on April 14, 1949, to Sylvester and Bonita "Bonnie" (Liebergen) Vissers. He was an employee of Appleton Coated in Combined Locks. Gary had many interests and talents. A true outdoorsman, Gary loved spending time at his cottage in Tipler. He was always eager to get out fishing, hunting, four-wheeling and and riding his Harley. Gary was a great craftsman, building his home from the ground up.
Gary is survived by his father, Sylvester Vissers, Kaukauna; six siblings: Wayne (Carol) Vissers, Little Chute; Al (Cleo) Vissers, Kaukauna; Diane (Terry) Vander Linden, Green Bay; Randy (Linda) Vissers, Kaukauna; Mike Vissers, Green Bay; Marv (Margaret) Vissers, Oak Creek; and girl friend, Isy Schmidt. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Gary's mother Bonnie precedes him in death.
The funeral will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, May 30, 2006, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Little Chute. The family will receive friends after 3 p.m. on Tuesday directly at church. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established.
