- James Ervin Welhouse, age 82, passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2017, he is now at peace in his heavenly home. After a lengthy illness, he passed peacefully at Appleton Medical Center. James was born on August 24, 1934 in Kimberly, WI, son of the late Ervin and Ethel (Schneider) Welhouse.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary (St. Germain) Welhouse, who he met while stationed with the Air Force in Plattsburgh, NY. James enjoyed a lifetime of traveling throughout the US and abroad. His love of nature and the outdoors started in his early youth and continued the rest of his life where he spent time hunting and fishing. James served as a Municipal Justice for Combined Locks for 19 years and worked at Kimberly Clark for 42 years. Enjoying the last 20 years of his retirement in Arizona during the winter months.
Besides his wife, James is survived by his three children; Sandy (Chris) Weber, Jeff (Sheryl) Welhouse, Nancy (Dave) Lane; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Robert Welhouse.
Funeral services for James will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Holy Spirit Parish at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 620 E. Kimberly Ave, Kimberly, WI with Fr. Bob Kollath officiating.
